What happened

The U.S. Energy Information Administration tracked completion of eight liquid fuels pipeline projects from January 2025 through June 2026. Completed projects include Bahia Pipeline Enterprise's 550-mile, 600,000 barrel-per-day NGL pipeline from West Texas to Texas; EPIC's Y-grade pipeline expansion to a total capacity of 225,000 b/d; Kinder Morgan's conversion of the Double H Pipeline from crude oil to NGL; MPLX's expansion of the BANGL pipeline to 250,000 b/d capacity; Kinder Morgan's expansion of the Santa Fe Pacific East Line, which runs from El Paso, Texas, to Tucson, Arizona; Sable Offshore's restart of idle California pipelines; Seahawk's conversion of a 16-inch natural gas pipeline to crude oil service; and Enterprise's conversion of the Seminole Red pipeline back to NGL service. The database also recorded 14 newly announced projects. The EIA maintains a database tracking more than 280 U.S. liquids pipeline projects dating to 2010, compiled from pipeline company websites, trade press, and government documents.
