Supernatural VR fitness app relaunches as independent product with higher pricing
The fitness VR game, previously abandoned by Meta, returns today in early access with a doubled subscription cost and plans for expanded content.

What happened
Supernatural, a fitness VR game Meta had said it would stop creating content for, has relaunched as an independent app in the Meta Horizon Store starting today. The relaunch includes thousands of remastered workouts and new ones available immediately, with additional new workouts rolling out weekly. The subscription price has increased from $9.99 per month to $20 per month or $200 per year. Developers plan to add new music, higher-definition destinations, new features, and a rebuilt version of Supernatural Together multiplayer mode in the coming weeks and months. Players of the original version can transfer their account data—points, start date, streaks, favorites, and badges—through December 3rd, and founding members will receive exclusive rewards.
Context
The price increase represents a significant change for users, doubling the monthly cost while the app operates in early access. The planned roadmap indicates the independent developers are positioning this as a refresh with expanded features, including a new mobile companion app for progress tracking. The data transfer window and founding member rewards suggest efforts to retain the existing player base through the transition.
