TikTok Expands Comment Sections with Voice Messages, Polls, and Photo Features
TikTok is rolling out voice comments, polls, photo carousels, and Live Photo comments to make its comment sections more interactive and encourage extended engagement.

TikTok announced Thursday that it is deploying new comment section features globally, including voice comments (up to one minute long, rolling out to users 18 and older over the next month), creator polls with up to five voting options, photo carousel comments (up to nine photos per comment, rolling out over the next month), and Live Photo comments (available globally now). Voice comments are subject to the same Community Guidelines as other platform content and will be moderated using a combination of human review and automated detection tools including speech-to-text transcription. Creators can use polls to gather feedback on future video content, styling choices, and other decisions, with results viewable in real time in the comment section.
