Analogue announces Super Nt Plus and Mega Sg Plus with wireless connectivity and design upgrades
The retro console maker is releasing updated versions of its SNES and Genesis recreations with built-in wireless controllers, USB-C power, and hot-swappable cartridges.

What happened
Analogue announced new Super Nt Plus and Mega Sg Plus consoles featuring reworked industrial design, built-in Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity for controllers, USB-C and USB-A ports, and the ability to hot-swap cartridges without powering down. Like their predecessors, both use FPGA processors to recreate the original hardware without emulation and output at 1080p. Preorders begin October 19th at 9AM PT/11AM ET for $219.99 each, with December shipping expected.
Context
These upgrades address practical pain points in retro gaming: wireless connectivity eliminates cable clutter, USB-C enables charging via common mobile cables, and hot-swapping reduces friction between play sessions. The consoles remain limited to 1080p output, distinguishing them from Analogue's Analogue 3D which supports 4K for Nintendo 64 games, positioning the Plus versions as mid-tier options in the company's retro hardware lineup.
